Long-distance move from Michigan to Florida

Nightmare..worst ever.

Would not even give one star..they are worst nightmare you can think of you rather move by higher a good person with good driving records..rent truck..pay him to drive for you from place a to b..pay him return fair and do all but not this usa moving group..they ..ruined and damaged and lost most of my belongings and 3 weeks late..and still paid higher then I paid for private move..so I am coping from others review below because that is exactly true and nothing but true..read it..I just could not write batter..I agree 200%

Based on my experience with this company, I have created the following ad that fully describes what they do:

Hey there, looking to move cross-country? Well then here is what we can do for you. First we will have a nice person call you and be very knowledgeable, and seem very forthcoming about the process. He will tell you about the move and how smooth it will be. Also, he will not pressure you and even accommodate you by giving his direct number. After you call back to book, he will tell you that the price of the move is by weight, and that you will have your property within 5-10 days, and that this company has experience with moves such as yours. You will be told that 1-2 weeks before the move, you will receive a call to add or delete any inventory. He will tell you that the truck driver, in a semi truck will give you the weight of the truck before pick up, and once they weight the truck with your items, you will be given the weigh bill and the updated estimate of the move. The move will be reasonable and no fuss to you at all. Just pay the deposit, which is 1/3 of the total cost.

Then, once we have the deposit, we will ignore you and hand you over to a budget mover called Low Price Movers (cute, right?). ** Review separate of this place.

Then your stuff will be hauled away and you will not hear anything from us. You will be confused, and feeling a bit ripped off. You will call us and we will not answer. You will email and call the original sales person that you set up the appointment with, and you will be ignored.

Someone will call you and promise that everything will take care of, and that this should not have happened. This person will promise to call you back. This will be a lie, but we have your stuff, so shut up and take it.

You will eventually get frustrated. You will eventually file a BBB complaint. This will pis* us off.

You will try calling USA Moving again, and get the same person, on the phone. She seems like she wants to help and says that she will get you're the weigh bill and that she is trying to help you, but she is either too busy or incompetent to really do anything.

Finally two weeks after your belongings were tossed into a truck, a truck driver will call you. He will let you know that your belongings are on a truck in Chicago (no where in between your Los Angeles to Oklahoma City move) and that he should be able to get them to you the following Saturday or Sunday.

You will receive a BBB response that in so many words says "You signed up with us, deal with it and you will get your
whenever we feel like it. Shut up and go away."

You will try again to talk to someone, and she will feed you more about how she is working on it.

It's Friday, and you still will not have your stuff.

Finally on Saturday, 17 days later, your truck of stuff shows up. A representative of USA Moving will act like he is trying to help you, and offer you compensation of less than 1% of your move. He also will promise to provide you with the weigh bill, so you can find out what your move really cost. He says that he will send it to you on Monday. He won't.

Also, we at USA Moving can guarantee that your items will be thrown onto at least 5 different trucks, with no mind to the fragile contents.. which if labeled so, we will kick down a flight of stairs and have an elephant waiting to do burpees on the remains of the boxes. We also promise that at least 2/3 of your items will be marred, disfigured, broken, destroyed, mangled and pulverized. We don't event know what customer service means, we grantee this at USA Moving and our affiliate Low Price Movers.

And for OUR convenience, we will send you to a website to handle the "refund" (hahaha) for the broken items.

So, sign up today for a moving experience that you will NEVER FORGET!! Our operators are standing by..

Long-distance move from California to North Carolina

Horrible!

Take my word and stay far far away from this company. There customer service is horrible, they jack up prices after assuring you there will be no surprises, they show up late with items missing. My husband got a last minute job offer in North Carolina leaving me in San Diego to handle to packing and moving by myself. I called several companies for quotes and Dennis with USA moving group really sold me on his. I gave him exact dimensions over every single item we were taking. Every single box and every other item we were taking. I explained to Dennis that I could have no surprises whatsoever with pricing when they came to do the pickup. He assured me since I was doing it the right way with giving him an itemized list there would be no surprises. I told him that I was doing it by myself my husband was already in NC and our items had to be out that specific weekend. He quoted me $2189.16 I thought it was a fair price and set everything up with him. Now come Saturday Dec 6th the movers come. They were from LP Movers (who have an F with the BBB). They looked at everything that we were taking and said it was going to cost more. The total price ended up being $3275. That's $1085.84 more then what Dennis originally quoted me after I get him an itemized list of everything and told him I could have no surprises. What amazes me even more, when the moving guys came I had taken large items out of the shipment, queen size bed, safe, freezer, and bicycles. And it still ended up being over $1000 more. Like I said I was in a huge time crunch and had to have all of my stuff out of the house that day leaving me with no choice but to use them. After having no choice but to use them I reluctantly agreed to the new amount. They asked me when was the earliest they could deliver my items and I told them Dec 18th. Thinking I would get a call from them around that time to schedule the delivery. The 18th came and went without a word so I started calling them and leaving messages. Finally, on Monday Dec 22 I got a hold of them and they let me know they would be doing the delivery on Friday the 26th or Saturday the 27th with a call the day before. Friday the 26th came and went without a word from them. Finally on Saturday the 27th the driver calls me to let me know he will be there on Tuesday the 30th. When I asked him why he wasn't there that day like I was told he would be, he said no one told him. So, Monday the 29th comes and he lets me know he will be there at 8am the next day. Tuesday the 30th comes and finally he shows up at 10am. They start unloading the truck and several boxes were damaged. One box clearly said "Fragile this end up" with arrows all over it and one of the sides was completely caved in. Another box that said "Pictures" with arrows pointing up had tire tread marks on it. One of the delivery guys spoke no English and even told me I needed to speak Spanish! The non English speaking guy must not have been able to read either because I had a box (Manufactures box) that clearly said it had a light fixture in it that got in his way and he just kicked it. I was appalled and offended. I am also now having to file a claim with them because I am missing several items. .

Long-distance move from Georgia to Florida

Great for my move from Georgia!!

I moved down to Florida from Georgia, and used these guys for the move. The salesman and moving team were all very professional and and that really took a lot of stress away from my move, and I'm very thankful for that! Their prices are reasonable as well. When my items arrived (the next day), I found everything to be in perfect condition, no scratches, dents, or tears. Thanks guys for being a decent and trustworthy team and company! You will come highly recommended from me, and if I need a mover in the future, I will definitely be a repeat customer for you!

Long-distance move from Arizona to Texas

Worst experience ever.

NEVER use this company. My Mother in law is in AZ and was packed up today for a quote of 1600 dollars. 600 dollars has already been paid as a deposit. The movers headed by a man named Jonathan loaded up the stuff and then told my mother that it was an extra 1100 dollars. She did not agree and called me in Houston because the man Jonathan was intimidating her. I tried to speak to Jonathan and he told me that he was adding the 1100 due to volume. The agreed price was by weight not volume. I have the paperwork. When he refused to move the items I called USA movers office and spoke to a manager named Ben He informed me that he would call me back after he spoke to their dispatch. This was 2.5 hours ago. So some time passes and my mother calls me scared and crying because the movers were trying to force her to pay the money. I called Scottsdale PD and they responded. When the officers arrived and were going to run the credentials of the movers he unloaded the stuff and left it in the parking lot of my mothers apartment complex. The police were unable to do anything due to it being a civil matter. I tried contacting the parent company of the movers called A to B Trans Inc. I received no answer. And to top it off my last call to the movers the secretary told me that she just transferred my mothers call to the manager and that is why I can't speak to him. I just called my mother and she has not spoken to the manager Ben at all. Now My mother has all her stuff not moved and is out 600 dollars for the time being. I am contacting BBB and possibly an attorney for a resolution. Please steer clear of these guys.

Long-distance move from Ohio to Michigan

Long distance Move.

Salesman was very consistent in calling me and returning my phone calls until he got my deposit, then he disappeared. The "customer service" people who have followed up with me since have been unconcerned with my problems. The movers (who were nice) showed up 6 hours late, worked until 3 in the morning and left with approx. 5 hours of work left to do (according to them.) It is now 3 days later. We are closing on our house tomorrow and it is still full of 1/4 of our belongings and we are in temporary housing 4 hours away. This could really mess up the sale of our house. I do not trust this company.

Long-distance move from Colorado to Florida

Moving.

First they get you in with a low ball quote, they arrive and changed my bill from $4500 to $6800.  I was told I had way more stuff than my original quote reflected.  I wanted to get my deposit back $1500.  "you could try," Carlos told me.  Carlos was the mover who showed up to put all of my stuff into the truck.  He was the one who changed my price, but he was the only person who was honest in this whole adventure.  I needed to move now, so just lets do it!  I asked when my stuff would get to Florida, no firm answer, but about a week, and we will let you know.  I could go on for ever but it took 18 days.  During those 18 days the only person that would return my call was Carlos.  Original agent (Dennis) transferred me to Sam, dispatch.  Sam told me he would check on it and to call him the next day.  Wasn't there and NEVER returned my calls.  They have caller ID, so they just stopped answering my calls, ignored my emails.  The driver called me and said he would be here tomorrow between 9-10, he was 3 hours late.  I had to have cash, or postal money order..  I requested to see my stuff before I paid him, "not allowed."  Missing items, broken items.  RUN don't Walk from this group.  They will change their name.  These people should be in jail.  Dennis told me to look at their DOT number, it only had 1 complaint, other companies had dozens. Look at yelp and other sites to get a more realistic report! I think they just sub contract out all there moves to anyone.  .

Long-distance move from Michigan to Alabama

Never a Straight Answer on the Phone.

We started to talk with this company after they gave us a call from a form we filled out on the internet (by the way, not a great way to find a moving company!).  After several days of research we knew right questions to ask of a moving company.  When USA Moving Group called us, we specifically asked if they were moving "brokers"--folks who subcontract the move out to other companies.  The rep danced around the question, kept telling us yes they had carriers, yes we could check protectyourmove.gov, etc. etc. Never got a straight answer from this guy.  So evasive.  I think we dodged a bullet, especially after reading these reviews.  We will be going with an established moving carrier and no broker.

Long-distance move from Ohio to Colorado

Do Not Use!!

I had USA Moving Group quote a price for me to move from Ohio to Colorado. I provided an inventory and what I was looking for. I was searching for a company that would pack, transport and deliver my items.

They quoted me a price that was the best that I had received. I paid the deposit and were scheduled a two day window of either 2/17 or 2/18.

I double and triple checked with them that this price included the movers boxing, disassembling, loading/unloading & transporting my stuff from Ohio to Colorado. They assured me that was the included and that I wouldn't have to do anything.

They called me at 6:52 pm on 2/17 stating they would be there on 2/18 between Noon-4 pm. At 11:38 AM on 2/18, they stated that they were running late and would be there between 3-7 PM that day.

At 5 pm I called them and they stated that they would be there closer to 7pm. I asked them if it was going to take long to pack my stuff up (since I had been told that was all included). They stated that it wasn't listed on their report and that I needed to pack everything and that they were just coming to load and unload in Colorado. I explained that I was estimated the cost to include all that. They transferred me to the estimator who did not take my call, an Allan. I left a voice mail that was never returned. I ran and got boxes and tape and began to pack my things. I did not have enough boxes and was forced to have them do it for an additional cost that the company would not quote me.

At 7:30 pm that evening they stated that they are still running late and would be there between 9-10 pm. At 9 pm they called and said they'd be there right at 10 pm. At approximately 10:37 pm the movers showed up. When they came into my apartment and went through the inventory. The inventory they were provided was not including almost half of the items I had told the estimator. Needing to get moved to Denver ASAP start my job, I had them estimate the additional stuff which came to approximately $330 additional.

I put my arrival date as 2/20 in Denver at my apartment and left Youngstown to make it there on time. That was the last time I've heard from them.

On 2/23-3/1 , I attempted to call and leave voice mails to find out where my items were. I have not received any type of email, phone call, mailing or any type of update regarding the location of my items. I do not have any clothes except for what I brought with me. My important paperwork were in a filing cabinet that is someone in North America I hope. My furniture, and everything I own for the most part are somewhere and no one is responding.
Still have not received my items. .

Long-distance move from Michigan to New Mexico

Worst Company Ever!

I made arrangements with a Derrick C on Friday, March 13th, to have my items moved from MI to NM.  I was told that the truck driver would call me Sunday, March 15th, to left me know the time they would be arriving to pickup my items.  I never received a call Sunday, so I called Derrick who informed me that he would have dispatch call me with the time of pickup.  When dispatch called, they told me that a truck driver would arrive Saturday, March 21.  I told them that I would be in NM by that time and arrangements were made for my items to be picked up by Monday.  I was told that the best they could do for me is have a drive pickup my items Tuesday, March 17.  I was told that I would receive a call later that day with the pickup time for Tuesday.  Close to the end of the business day, I had called both dispatch and Derrick because I had not received a call from the truck driver letting me know of the time of pickup to Tuesday and was told that I would be contacted first thing Tuesday morning with the time.  Tuesday morning, both dispatch and Derrick failed to call me so I called them.  I was told by dispatch that a drive would call me within 3 hours to give me a pickup time.  I was also told by Derrick that he would follow up with me and let me know when the driver would be arriving.  Five hours later, after no response from dispatch, Derrick or the truck driver, I called Derrick and dispatch repeatedly for the next one hour, every 15 minutes.  I also email Derrick.  After an hour and a half of no response from anyone, I called the Corporate office and spoke with a Customer Service Supervisor (Sam #1016) who reported that the soonest he could get a truck out would be Wednesday, March 18th.  I told Sam that I would no longer be in MI on Wednesday and that I need my items picked up Tuesday.  After Sam repeatedly told me that he could not get a truck out to me on Tuesday, I reported that I wanted my refund back.  I was then told that I could not get my refund because I am canceling my service.   I told Sam that I did not cancel my service.  I expected them to pickup my items Monday, which they failed to do.  Then I was told that my items would be picked up Tuesday, which they failed to do again.  I told them that I made prior arrangements to view and secure apartments and that I had planned on driving to NM myself, which was more than a 25 hour drive that I planned on doing in two days.  But Sam insisted that he would not give me my refund and that I should file a complaint. Now I have a load of items that I don’t know what to do with and have to start driving to NM to try and secure an apartment before work begins on Monday, March 23rd.  I really wish I had checked the reviews prior to giving them my deposit.  This company should be shut down for all of their fraudulent activities.

Long-distance move from Virginia to Florida

My move to Florida was a scam.

I had a one bed room apartment and I was told my move will be $1008 and when the movers showed up it was done by a company they contracted out and then I was stuck with their price. My move was changed to $4000. They said I would only pay extra if it goes over a certain weight. I requested to me with the drivers at the weight station before and after the load and that didn't happen. They weren't on time, they even asked for a tip. I been calling for weeks trying to resolve this payment issue but they keep giving me the run around. They claim they are waiting on papers to be faxed to them and last time I checked it doesn't take a month to do so. People save your money this company is a scam and they lie about their service. The movers showed up and I asked were the truck was and the driver said it broke down. They rent trucks then move your stuff. This company is the worst. I'm currently seeking a lawyer to sue them. I wouldn't let my enemy use this company !! People stay away from this company!!

Good service.

Moved 1 bdr apartment from Ohio to AZ. Estimate was around 50% of other moving companies. Scheduled 2 days window for pick up. Coordinator contacted me 48 hours prior and provided me with driver phone #.  driver also contacted me on the day of pick up. Crew was on time and professional. During the walk through they determined that price would be bit higher than estimate (150$), which was fine with me since I did not list some items. Delivery was within agreed dates and without any problems.

Complete dishonesty - DO NOT USE.

Lies and deception from the beginning. Tom Kiernan promised me everything I wanted to get me to sign with them. After I signed the contract, he disappeared. Refused to reply to emails or voice mails. Nothing went the way I was told it would. First he said USA Moving Group wasn't a broker. Wrong! The company they contracted out to charged me for something not on my original estimate. I argued that it wasn't needed but ended up having no option. Both USA Moving Group and Unique Moving promised me next day delivery. I have Multiple Sclerosis and Degenerative Disc Disease in my lower back so having my bed and furniture right away was beyond important. As of this review, I've been sleeping on the floor for 5 nights and who knows how many more I will have to. After threatening to report my items as stolen because I can't get a delivery date, I was given a # for a dispatcher and of course had to leave a message. I told them the same. I need a date and time or I'm reporting my items stolen.
This group will tell you anything you want to hear to get you sign with them.

This company has to be the WORST in the business.
My items were picked up by some random company on 9/12, delivered on 10/10 with several MISSING items (my mattress, desk, and several boxes).

No one will answer my calls, emails, or voicemails.

The random movers doubled my quote and I had to pay an extra 900 to receive majority of my things.

Kathleen.

This company was so bad, I'm embarrassed that I even used them. I should have been more careful. The initial salesperson is pure genius. He is so good at his job they should triple his wages. He's smooth and sucks you right in with all the right answers and promises. After you commit and send in the first payment, it's all down hill after that. They were two days late for pick up and literally left me sitting waiting for them. They finally arrived in a rented Penske truck with two guys, and only one spoke broken English. They wrapped my stuff up really nice, which I was impressed with, but I was still such a fool to trust them with my goods. They were supposed to meet me in SC three days later, from Mass. I called and called and they finally called me on the sixth day and gave to a wide time frame when they would arrive. It was really unprofessional and shady. I was actually shocked when they did actually arrive. I counted my blessings and watched as they unloaded everything into storage. Once I got my stuff to my new home, I started noticing things were missing. Then I noticed a lot of things missing. I started calling the contact person and the company and nobody ever called me back. Of course not! I finally gave up. DO NOT go with this company. I'm so angry because as weeks go by, I realize more and more of my favorite items are gone. It's takes you a while to notice because they don't steal everything, just certain things, and by the time you notice, it's too late. THIEVES!

Long-distance move from Florida to Texas

Horrid company!!

Warning! This company is horrid. They don't deserve the one star I'm giving them. This company should not be in business. From the beginning, the process started out swimmingly. Jason , the sales rep, is a master at his job. I bought his bit hook, line, and sinker. He was professional, and courtesy. They gave us a great rate with our move. Then the fun began. They arrived a few hours late to pick up everything and litterally spent hours trying to figure out what was to be put on the truck first. I drove to Texas and the delivery was promised to be there within seven days from pickup, despite the contact stating they have 60 days to deliver ghee items. I arrived in Texas on June 30 and did not received my items until the third week in September. Not to mention by furniture was delivered, mangled, torn, busted, dented, chipped, scratched, and mitigated. And of course, when going through the claims process, they informed me that it could take up to 120 days before the claim could be settled. Needless to say I'm dealing with the, still and have not been paid for the damage nor compensated for being late. Whatever you do, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I recommend paying a little more for a more professional company, one who will deliver your belongings in one piece. They're liars and thieves. I regret the day I ever signed the contract with them. Oh, and by the way, they recently (Ocotber 27, 2014) received and F rating from the Better Business Bureau. That should give you a good indication on the quality of this company. .

Long-distance move from Missouri to California

It's a marketing scam.

They sell a service they don't deliver on. The entire process was broken from the beginning. The first issue started prior to pick-up when I was told I would receive a call from the mover/contractor 24 hours in advance. I started calling customer service the day of the move, because no one had called me. It took 4 phone calls and 4 hours to get an answer. I finally received a call from a driver/contractor that had just been given my move. He said he would be there in 1 hour, he showed up and didn't know he was packing breakables and pictures. He didn't have the materials, so I went to buy them to speed up the process.  The salesman (Dennis) is good at selling a bunch of promises they can't deliver on. The contractor they hired for the move was nice (Tracy) but he contracts for a bad company. Save yourself stress and frustration and hire someone else. .

Bare and switch.

This company is ridiculous. they will call you day after day to make their company sound amazing. After the take your deposit they are impossible to communicate with. I have sent 6 emails all of which have not been replied to. I even stayed on the phone with Sam in dispatch who confirmed he received my email and he set the expectation that he would respond within 24 hours. to no avail.. NO RESPONSE!

The Company provided a quote with an understanding that if my packages were over the estimated weight I would pay a dollar amount per pound. They're promised a storage facility at my destination until we found a place.

When the movers arrived they did inventory and recalculated a new estimate. This estimate was a take it or leave it quote, which is not what I agreed to. They offered that I take the new quote of risk taking it to the weigh station where the price may be higher.

The movers also revealed that they have up to 21 days to deliver my items to my new home. AGAIN nothing that was discussed previously.

I am now out over $700.00 because this company fails to take ownership of their false expectations.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

Long-distance move from North Carolina to Massachusetts

Avoid USA moving group at all costs.

Used USA Moving Group for a move from NC to MA. Everything sounded good on the phone during the quote stage. The move was supposed to take 3-5 days. They explained how the process should work and said the sales person would be our single point of contact. We paid for a specific weight of items.
USA M.G. subcontracted the pickup to some other company. While I was upstairs with the movers, the foreman found my wife downstairs and tried to get her to change the contract to a by-volume style for nearly twice the agreed price. They told her we had so much weight that the by-volume price would be cheaper. Luckily, I had weighed all of my items and knew the total weight was just under the contracted amount.
Then we were informed they didn't have an empty tare weight on the truck like they were supposed to.
They were to call us from the road in a couple of hours with the full weight, and then weigh the empty truck after dripoff (i.e. when I can't verify either one). Since they already had my stuff loaded up, I didn't have much of a choice.
Now it is 9 days after pickup and we still do not have our stuff. It was offloaded to a storage facility in NJ without informing me. It has been sitting there for days. USA Moving Group, the pickup movers, and the storage facility have all given me revised delivery times and promises for updates that never happened. Now none of them will return my calls. I am likely going to have to contact the Better Business Bureau, law enforcement, or a lawyer just to get my stuff back. And I still have not been given any info on what they claim the weight is.

Feeling scammed by USA movers.

DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS.Contacted USA movers and received an estimate from Dennis. On date of pick-up, movers showed up and immediately began saying that the estimate from Dennis was purposely low to get my business. Driver stated estimate would go up but couldn't tell me how much until they started loading items. After every item in house was wrapped and about to be loaded, driver issued new estimate which was $1900.00 higher. I began calling Dennis immediately, and 5 days later I can still not get an answer from anyone involved with company as to final price or when I will receive final weight of truck or date of delivery of my items. If they resolve this I will update my review, but as of now, I firmly believe I am being scammed by this company and would not recommend anyone do business with them.

I made my reservation 3 months in advance. Like the last review all they do is call call call till you pay your first deposit then you never hear from them again. I gave them a 3 day time frame to get my stuff. On the last day to get my stuff they said they couldn't make it, that they promise to come the next day in the morning. Later that day they changed it to the afternoon. Later that day they call back and say their phone isn't holding a charge and could they send one to my apartment. The next day comes and they never showed up. I had to move all my stuff myself. I still haven't received a refund for my deposit.

Long-distance move from Michigan to Texas

Please Please Choose Another Company.

This has absolutely been the worst company and worst experience for moving. There is a handful of ppl in customer service and they act nonchalant about your business. Received most of my items except one. For the past three weeks they've been sayings it's on it's way. Admit you lost it and pay me. The sales ppl are liars. How does the price increase by $1200 at pick-up leaving you no choice unless you want to lose the dep. Beware they hire ppl off Craigslist to help the driver move. How is that right? No one ever responds to calls or emails. Please report to the bbb. Also I have someone else's items. What company doesn't care to retrieve it.

Long-distance move from Georgia to New York

Terrible experience! USAMoving is unprofessional!

Extrmely poor experience.  Sales people were unhelpful and gave me false information multiple times.  The movers on either end were extrmely unprofessional and the delivery guys left me a whole in my apartment complex the size of a basketball.  The sales people are uninvolved after the contract is signed, leaving you at the complete mercy of the mover sceduler and moving teams.  I dd not trust the cost estimates at anu point and each group I asked questions to gave me different answers.  Overall, worst experience and I will not be returning my business.  Do yourself a favor and go another route!

Long-distance move from California to Colorado

Worst Movers Ever.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.  I am going to vent for a long time but in short summary: I was lied to, I was mislead, I was unfairly overcharged, my delivery was constantly delayed, and no one at the company seemed to care or want to help.Dennis the sales guy will say all the right things, and give you an estimate that is competitively low.  Everything went wrong from there.  Despite what they say, USA Moving is a broker, meaning they contract out your move to another company.  The reason this is bad, is as your move happens, it is extremely difficult to get help because you are dealing with two companies.  USA moving is no longer really involved in your move, and you have already paid them most of the money, so they have no reason to help you.The company they contracted gave me a 4-6 pm pickup window and showed up at 10 pm.  The guy looked at my stuff and immediately upped my estimate 500 lbs ($400) but assured me everything would be weighed and if it was less than that it would be adjusted.  DON'T AGREE TO THEM UPPING YOUR ORIGINAL ESTIMATE!  If your move ends up weighing more, they can adjust it then.  We were also promised certified weight tickets.  We tried for weeks to get these, and the best we got was unmarked, undated, and with no location tickets emailed that claimed my stuff was 4000 lbs. (Original estimate 2100 and based on a generous  calculation no way my stuff was more than 2500).  Basically I believe my stuff was never weighed.  You are entitled to a "re-weigh" but they threaten you that you will have to pay if it is over the original estimate, and by the time my stuff finally arrived I had no desire to delay it anymore with going to a weigh station.  Delivery: my delivery date was delayed at least 5 times, and every time I had to call to find this out.   You sign a paper that says it could take up to a month to be delivered, and I understand that it basically depends on when my small shipment can be fit onto a large truck.  What was frustrating was all the false promises, with no follow through.  The operations and customer service people would assure me something would happen and even "guarantee" it would be delivered by a certain day. The problem is since the move is being handled by another company, USA Moving really has no idea when it will show up.  Contacting the contracted company was equally frustrating, because they could never find record of me since I booked through USA.I think most moving companies are tough to deal with, but I would suggest using one who handles your move directly.  Easier to deal with and more accountable.   I personally usually skip over the really scathing reviews thinking ok that person had a bad experience and is just being whiny.. well here I am being that whiny person.
